Dear residents,

The Little Somerford Parish Council currently has a number of allotment plots remaining. The plots need a bit of TLC but are not too bad to clear and at the present time we’d like to offer it free of charge for this season (season ends October and charges would apply at the end of the season should you wish to keep the plot thereafter). The plot is quite large so could be shared, however rules around COVID-19 and social distancing must be observed.

For many of us, the Easter weekend is synonymous with attending church, seeing family and exploring our magnificent county. However, as Wiltshire adjusts to the challenges posed by the coronavirus outbreak, we understand that this bank holiday weekend might be a lonely and isolating time for some people.

Wiltshire Life, a subscription based magazine, has been the county magazine for Wiltshire for more than 70 years ‘one magazine, one county’ and so during this Easter period we would like to offer everyone in the county access to a digital version of our latest issue of the magazine without having to pay. This is a small gesture, which we hope will provide some connection to the outside world during these troubling times.
